Ruskin Junior School Vision 2025
At Ruskin, we see it as our moral imperative for all children, regardless of background or circumstance, to achieve their very best in all aspects of their development. Our aim is to ensure our broad and balanced curriculum delivers this expectation and also provides children with a rich depth of cultural capital. Ultimately, our ambition is for everyone to;
‘Work hard and be kind.’
We have a strongly held belief that everyone who works here fully buys-in to this ambition. We know that we have both the privilege and great responsibility to engage, inspire and create wonder in the minds of our pupils and we are relentless in the way in which we guide, coach and support our children to develop intellectually, spiritually and morally through their journey here at Ruskin.
Our aim is to ensure Ruskin is an exceptionally inclusive, community-focused and inspiring environment in which to learn. We encourage our children to be excited to come to school and discover the rich learning opportunities teachers have planned each and every day. We are also aware that the school’s physical environment needs to reflect the needs of its learners and we have spent the last few years ensuring that this is the case by creating a range of excellent on-site facilities which reflect a diverse range of abilities, interests and talents.
It is a consistency and commitment to nurture and learning support for each and every pupil, that we feel makes Ruskin such a unique, safe, and inclusive place to learn and grow.
