The Ruskin Houses

There are four houses at Ruskin: York (Yellow), Lancaster (Red), Tudor (Green) and Stuart (Blue).  All children are allocated a house when they arrive at the school and this stays with them for the whole time they are with us. 

House Points

House Points are awarded for outstanding effort and recorded on a chart in the classroom. Children receive certificates for 100, 200 and 300 points which are presented in celebration assemblies. They are also totalled up at the end of the week and the winning House receives the Weekly House Cup. 

House Sports

The different houses get the opportunity to compete against each other on Sports Days and during designated inter-house activities. All are conducted within the school ethos of good sportsmanship and perseverance.
