Holiday Requests
Please also be aware that, due to Local Authority and Government legislation, we can no longer allow children to be granted permission for holidays within term time. If leave is required during term time, the request must be made in writing to the headteacher.

Attendance at Ruskin
It is vital that children attend school everyday. Our pre-COVID attendance average was 95.8% - which means that 4.2% of learning time has been lost. Although this is above the National Average, we still believe that it is too much.
Please help us by ensuring that your child is in school everyday, that holidays are taken in school holidays and that they arrive on time for the start of the school day - gates open at 8.30am every day.
